In the past year one ref has been sentenced to jail for colluding with mobsters in an attempt to fix NBA games and David Stern and two cities conspired to move one of the most storied franchises in the league to Oklahoma.

That's bad for the NBA.

And for the rest of the dudes--Nenad, Boki, Delfino--they're just going home and getting paid. Why wouldn't they?

The NBA still has the cash, they're just not using it the right way; a point that I'm sure will be addressed during the next Collective Bargaining Agreement.

At the very "worst," the NBA will compete with the Euro League or any of the national leagues for dominance, just like a Champions League with the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, etc., etc.

We're still several Elton Brands, Shawn Marions, Stephon Marburies, Oleg Pecherovs and Stephen Jacksons away from the NBA seeing any shortage of talent at all.

If Yi Jianlin, though, decides to jump to CD Malaga next summer to hoop it up with Omar Cook, Marcus Haislip and Boniface N'Dong, there might be a problem.
